Richard Whitfield is a research-informed inspiring speaker and teacher. He is a widely published and managerially experienced natural and social scientist, educationist and latent poet, having a practical focus concerning qualities of lives well-lived . He specialises in aspects of social, organisational and educational policy including:-
· Family, Child and Youth Development Policies. · Human and life-skills development, including emotional, relational and spiritual literacy. · Formation for trustworthy leadership and organisational change · Holistic curriculum planning
Richard is Chairman of The Face to Face Trust, a recently founded educational charity uniquely concerned with the inclusive goal of building trust between people, both personally and in institutional settings.
Prior to freelance activity organised mainly from his home base in Lyme Regis, Dorset, UK, Richard held full-time posts in the Universities of Leeds, Cambridge and Aston, including periods as a Department Head and Dean of Faculty. Within the charitable sector he was successively Director of UK Child Care for the Save the Children Fund, Chairman of the National Family Trust, and Warden of St. George’s House, Windsor Castle.
